Every sidereal value here uses the Lahiri ayanamsa, the Indian Astronomical Ephemeris's definition (IAE 1956) carried to J2000: 23.857056°, within 0.13″ of Swiss Ephemeris's Lahiri.

Tropical places less the Lahiri ayanamsa give the nirayana (sidereal) places; the app holds the stars, the grahas and the Moon in one J2000 frame, so the band of the 27 Nakshatras is the same on every page and in the sky (decision 34).
