Eclipses
Each eclipse is found by the app's own engine, lunar ones by Danjon's enlarged shadow and solar ones from the Moon's shadow on the Earth, and each year's are checked against NASA's Five Millennium Canon in the app's tests.
Grahana, as the pages give it.
A place sees a lunar eclipse when the Moon is above its horizon during it; a solar eclipse is computed from the place's own coordinates, with its kind, the share of the Sun covered there, and its first and last contact. Times are written in the place's own clock. The sutak and the rules of conduct are not given here.
